Helmcken Falls is located in the interior of British Colombia. While most natural sites in North America were first known and popularized in the colonial imagination through early photographs from the 19th & 20th Centuries, there exists only a few photographs of Helmcken Falls prior to 1925. This photograph attempts to redress this lack for a place that is now known almost exclusively through photo-tourism.
